Artist Workshops with Heiner Hertling

Your Brush with Nature Workshops are held at Heiner's studio location in Milford Michigan, unless otherwise noted. Heiner's studio is located at 2264 Twilight Trace, Milford, MI 48380. See select dates highlighted below for travelling workshops.

Workshop Format:
Heiner holds a two-day workshop usually on the third weekend of the month. Each student will bring home a completed painting each day. You will learn how to block in a landscape, design a pleasing composition and use color theory to create depth. If you are interested in plein air painting this is the class that will get you ready to paint outdoors. This class is good for beginners and advanced students alike.

Class Prices are $240 for the full two-day workshop, or $125 per day.

Mentor Classes:
Heiner teaches a Mentor workshop once a month. At this workshop the student completes one large painting with the subject of their choice. The student limit is 5 and it is for three days.
